STATESBORO — The Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center is holding a veterans health care town hall meeting at Nessmith-Lane Conference Center on the Georgia Southern University campus. The program will be held Wednesday from 1-3 p.m.

Georgia Southern University enrollment includes more than 400 veterans. These veterans and their families are working toward a successful civilian career. That journey is due, in large part, to being fully engaged with and aware of the opportunities provided by Georgia Southern University. This town hall meeting will provide keys to obtaining and maintaining medical support from the VA.

All veteran students, veteran student family members, Non-student community veterans and any member of the public interested in VA health care benefits for veterans are welcome.

Aides from U.S. Rep. John Barrow’s office will be in attendance. The Nessmith-Lane Conference Center is at 847 Plant Drive.
