Effingham County Health Department Environmental Health Specialist II Tiffany Maeno Jackson recently earned her master’s degree in public health with a concentration in environmental health sciences. Jackson received her degree from the Jiann-Ping Hsu College of Public Health at Georgia Southern University.
Jackson has been with the Effingham County Health Department since 2005. As an environmental health specialist II, she protects and advances the public’s health by inspecting restaurants, septic systems and tourist accommodations.
Jackson is also involved in several other aspects of environmental health services including responding to public concerns related to indoor air quality, investigating reports of rabies exposure and promoting safety programs.
