FORCE collected and distributed to the FORCE pantries 13,430 pounds of food from the nine schools in Effingham County that participated in this year’s food drive.

Rincon Elementary collected 2,111 cans, with the fifth grade alone collecting 500 cans. The grade level that brought in the most cans received an ice cream party, and each student who brought in a can received a dress-down day. South Effingham High School was the winner among the high schools, and Ebenezer Middle School brought in the most canned goods among the middle schools.
