City of Rincon offices closed to public starting Friday

Effective Friday, as a precautionary measure and to limit the possibility of COVID-19 exposure from person-to-person contact, City of Rincon offices will be closed to the public.


The city will continue to provide services and all city employees will be required to report daily as normal. As this situation continues to develop, if necessary, adjustments may be made.

A drive-through window is available at City Hall in the rear of the building. Both will remain operational for day-to-day business.

Planning and Development Services will still be accepting applications for all permits and business licenses at and via the drop box.  Inspections are still available by appointment and with respect to social distancing. Call 912-826-5996 Option 5

All payments can be made via the drive through window, drop box, as well as online at and via phone 833-201-5692. Any normal service fee for electronic payment will be waived.
