County ethics plan moves forward

Effingham County commissioners took another step toward getting a formal ethics ordinance.
 
Commissioners agreed Tuesday night to move forward with setting their ethics proposals into an ordinance rather than into a policy. County
Administrator David Crawley suggested to commissioners that they adopt the proposals as an ordinance.
 
“It would be much stronger as an ordinance,” he said.
