The 102-year-old historic Effingham County Courthouse is on the verge of receiving a 21st century designation.
County commissioners will hold a dedication ceremony for the building Saturday at 3 p.m. The building has undergone a year-long renovation as a host of county offices are set to move into it and bring it back to full use.
“Everything is falling into place,” county project manager Adam Kobek said.
