Officials at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta said that one of the patients from the Imperial Sugar refinery explosion died Friday.
The patient’s name is not being released at the request of the family.
Ten victims from the Feb. 7 explosion remain at the burn center. Six are listed in critical condition and four are in serious. Thirteen people have died as a result of the blast, which is believed to have been caused by sugar dust.
