Earlier this afternoon, investigators with the Effingham County Sheriff's Office made an arrest in the death investigation of Courtney Wells.

42-year-old Scott Pinholster of Guyton was placed under arrest in connection with Wells’ death, but he continues to be cooperative as the investigation continues.

Investigators have worked around the clock since Well's body was discovered on Sunday Jan. 15 and authorities anticipate more arrests being made.
