More than one in five consumers said they rarely or never use a designated driver while away from home and drinking, according to a recent AAA survey.

AAA and Bud Light strongly encourage motorists to plan ahead before they celebrate Independence Day.

“If you are going to go out and drink this holiday weekend, having a designated driver is a great way to celebrate safely and avoid impaired driving,” said Gerry Gutowski, senior vice president of Automotive Services for the Auto Club Group. “However, we also offer Tow to Go as a last resort for those who need a safe ride home.”

Whether you are a AAA member or not, you can call for a Tow to Go ride anytime this weekend, July 4-6. AAA will transport you and your vehicle home safely or somewhere safe within 10 miles.

In Georgia, call (855) 2-TOW-2-GO, or (855) 286-9246.

Since its inception in 1998, Tow to Go has removed more than 23,000 intoxicated drivers from the roads.
