With the start of the 2012 football season on the horizon, Georgia Southern’s fall camp schedule was set Monday by head voach Jeff Monken.

The first of 19 practices begins Aug. 2 at 2:45 p.m. on the banks of “Beautiful Eagle Creek.”

The camp will run 17 days and wraps up Aug. 18 with Meet the Eagles at Allen E. Paulson Stadium, an opportunity for fans to pick up team posters and receive autographs from Eagle student-athletes.

Georgia Southern kicks off the 2012 season Sept. 1 against Jacksonville. Season tickets remain on sale through the Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-800-GSU-WINS.
