GUYTON — The Effingham County Middle School wrestling team and head coach Justin Scholl are set to present “Slam in the Ham.”

This sports-entertainment pro wrestling fundraiser will be conducted Saturday inside the school’s gym at 1659 Ga. Hwy 119 South, Guyton.

This family-friendly event, set to last two-plus hours, will be conducted in a comfortable and safe environment. 

“This fundraiser will help us raise the needed funds for our wrestling program,” Scholl said.” I am very thankful to all the sponsors who have embraced this event and our program. The school board, my principal, the school’s faculty and staff, as well as all the kids, parents and folks in community all have been supportive. 

“We are truly blessed here at Effingham County Middle School and it is an honor to be part of such an amazing community and school.”

Scholl has collaborated with the highly regarded and well-established APW organization based out of Statesboro. He guarantees that those in attendance will be entertained and have fun. There will be six-plus matches featuring the stars of APW such as world champion Iron Mike, tag-team champions Hollywood Pain, Avery, Cujo’, Little T, Eddie Money, Dynamic Dexter; Dracp the Viking, Springfield’s Amor the Giant and and many others. 

Rumor has it that Scholl might enter the ring   “Panther Style!”
