Lady Rebels blast Lady Tigers

The Effingham County Lady Rebels (10-2, 7-1)  treated their guests harshly Tuesday, beating Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers 12-0 and 13-0 in a Region 2-AAAAAA softball doubleheader.

Addie Reynolds paced the winners in the first game with three hits and four RBI, Enna Lackey added three hits and added one RBI. Morgan Coleman and Harleigh Caine each had two hits.

Winning pitcher Rylee Mills surrendered one hit and logged five strikeouts.

In the second game, Reynolds, Caleigh Eubanks, Coleman and Lackey each drove in two runs. Lackey also posted another three-hit game.

Julia Carter limited the Lady Tigers (1-5, 1-5) to one hit.

With nearly 700 kills and more than 230 blocks in her career, she enters her senior year committed to Towson University and determined to lead the Mustangs back to the state tournament.
