Six Effingham County Recreation and Parks track team members placed in the top two in their respective events at the district track meet in Swainsboro.

Qualifying were Skyler Myers in the 10 and under girls 400 meter; Cheyene Ryan in the 12U girls 200 meter; Kristen Hint in the U14 girls 1,600 meters; Alexis Bolinger in the 14U girls 400 meters; Ethan Christmas in the 12U boys 400 and 1,600 meters; and Joseph Burdick in the 12U boys 1,600 meters.
