Men’s
Demontrez Austin (South Georgia State College) — Austin had 11 points and 11 rebounds in a win over Georgia Perimeter College. He is averaging 10.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, and he leads the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association in rebounding. He also has blocked 24 shots.

DeQuincey Bennett (Johnson and Wales University) — A senior, Bennett is averaging 11.9 points per game and has started 14 games for the Wildcats. He is shooting 37.1 percent from 3-point range and is hitting 86.5 percent of his free throws.

Jakeenan Gant (University of Missouri) —The 6-foot-8 Gant has started four games, scoring 6.5 points and pulling down 2.5 rebounds per game.

Tanner Reid (East Georgia College) — Reid has played in 18 games, starting 11, and is scoring 6.2 points per game. He is averaging 2.2 rebounds and one assist per game. He had 11 points in a win over Albany Tech.

DeAundray Rhett (South Georgia State College) — In 16 games, Rhett is scoring 6.4 points and pulling down 4.5 rebounds per game.

Ryan Wilkins (Middle Georgia State College) — Wilkins is averaging 12.9 points per game and is shooting 41.2 percent from 3-point range.

Jay Wright (University of Louisiana) — Wright had 13 points and six assists in an 84-80 win over Georgia State. Now a starting guard, Wright has played in 14 games, starting 13 of them for the Ragin’ Cajuns. He is scoring 8.9 points per game averaging 3.2 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game. The Ragin’ Cajuns will play at Georgia Southern University on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Jakayvea Akins (Georgia Southern University) — Akins has played in 12 games and is averaging 1.8 points per game. She has five steals and nine assists for the Lady Eagles (4-9).

Hannah Anderson (Converse College) — A sophomore forward, Anderson has scored four points and has three rebounds in seven games for the Valkyries (1-9).

Tianna Germain (Kennesaw State University) — A freshman guard for the Owls, Germain has appeared in seven games and is averaging 1.1 points per game for KSU, which is 12-4.

Machala Raymonville (Armstrong State University) — Raymonville has played in 11 games for the Lady Pirates (6-7). She is averaging 4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game and also has 12 steals.

Aliyah Williams (LaGrange College) — In 10 games, Williams has scored 10 points for the Panthers (7-5).

Wrestling
Fletcher Smith (Anderson University) — The former South Effingham standout is 4-4 for the Trojans in his freshman campaign at 197 pounds, going 1-2 at the Virginia Duals.
