Men's Basketball
Demontrez Austin (South Georgia State College) — He is averaging 9.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, and he is third in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association in rebounding. He also has blocked 29 shots.

DeQuincey Bennett (Johnson and Wales University) — A senior, Bennett is averaging 12.1 points per game and has started 17 games for the Wildcats. He is shooting 37.6 percent from 3-point range and is hitting 81.4 percent of his free throws.

Jakeenan Gant (University of Missouri) —The 6-foot-8 Gant has started six games, scoring 5.1 points and pulling down 1.9 rebounds per game.

Alex Reid (Georgia College and State University) — Reid has played in all 18 games and he is averaging 3.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

Tanner Reid (East Georgia College) — Reid has played in 20 games, starting 13, and is scoring six points per game. He is averaging 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

DeAundray Rhett (South Georgia State College) — In 18 games, Rhett is scoring 6.2 points and pulling down four rebounds per game.

Ryan Wilkins (Middle Georgia State College) — Wilkins is averaging a team-leading 13.6 points per game and is shooting 38.8 percent from 3-point range. He also is averaging 3.1 rebounds per game.

Jay Wright (University of Louisiana) — Wright is scoring 8.7 points per game, averaging 3.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game. He had 14 points in a loss Saturday to Georgia State.


Women’s Basketball
Jakayvea Akins (Georgia Southern University) — Akins has played in 16 games and is averaging 1.5 points per game. She has eight steals and 13 assists for the Lady Eagles.

Hannah Anderson (Converse College) — Anderson has scored 23 points and has six rebounds in 11 games for the Valkyries.

Tianna Germain (Kennesaw State University) — A freshman guard for the Owls, Germain has appeared in 10 games and has scored 10 points for KSU, which is 13-7.

Machala Raymonville (Armstrong State University) — Raymonville has played in 11 games for the Lady Pirates. She is averaging 4 points and 2.4 rebounds per game and also has 12 steals.

Aliyah Williams (LaGrange College) — In 17 games, Williams has scored 23 points and has notched five steals.


Track and field
Kourtney Sizemore (Savannah State University) — Sizemore was fifth in the pole vault with a best of 2.9 meters in the Winston-Salem State Open to close out the indoor season.


Wrestling
Fletcher Smith (Anderson University) — The former South Effingham standout is 6-4 for the Trojans in his freshman campaign at 197 pounds.
