JB Wendelken (Birmingham Barons) — The former SEHS right-hander has been promoted to the White Sox’ Double-A affiliate. He has pitched 3 2/3 innings over two games, with five strikeouts and one walk. He has not given up a run.

Alec Arnsdorff (Georgia Highlands College) — Arnsdorff has played in seven games and is 5-for-15 with one run batted in.

Cal Baker (Georgia Southern University) — Baker, a sophomore infielder, is hitting .269 in 14 games, with eight starts. He has one homer and five RBIs.

Austin Denney (Savannah State University) — A senior, Denney (3-2) has an earned run average of 2.32 in nine starts. He has allowed 14 earned runs on 61 hits in 54 1/3 innings while striking out 48. He has issued 12 walks.

Ryan Frederick (GSU) — Frederick has pitched in 14 games, giving up four earned runs in 19 1/3 innings on 12 hits. He has struck out 16 batters. He is 2-0 with a 1.86 earned run average.

He has signed with Kennesaw State.

Maddie Evans (Reinhardt University) — Evans is hitting .360 with 11 doubles and 29 RBIs for the Lady Eagles in 40 games.

Mallory Ferguson (Georgia Regents University) — Ferguson is hitting .340, with three homers and 17 RBIs. She also has a team-high 10 doubles.

Bri Lewis (Point University) — Lewis has a team-high six home runs and has driven in a team-best 29 runs in 46 games. She is hitting .409 with 11 doubles.

Alexis Mercer (Armstrong State University) — Mercer is hitting .404 with 11 home runs and 32 RBIs, slugging .809 in 35 games.
