JB Wendleken (Birmingham Barons) — Wendelken is now 6-2 with an earned run average of 2.37. In 38 innings, he has struck out 45 and walked 11. He has allowed 32 hits, and opponents are hitting just .221. Wendelken also has three saves in his 24 appearances.



Ryan Frederick (New Bedford Bay Sox) — In five games, three of them starts, with the New England Collegiate Baseball League team, he has an earned run average of 4.41, with 18 strikeouts and eight walks over 18 1/3 innings. He is 1-3.
