Second Lawsuit Targets Effingham IDA
The Southern Environmental Law Center filed the lawsuit Monday in Effingham County Superior Court on behalf of environmental group One Hundred Miles and Effingham County residents. The suit names the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority as the defendant and alleges violations of Georgia’s Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act

A helping hand at Lakeview Manor

A group of ECE/FCCLA students visited Lakeview Manor recently. While there, the students talked with the residents, “assisted” with a Halloween craft, and gathered around the piano to enjoy music while one of the residents played. Before they left, the students and residents were planning the next visit.
