A 4-year-old YouTube star got an impromptu opportunity to audition on the season premier of The Voice Monday.

Claire Ryann Crosby needs no introduction. The young YouTube star has garnered millions of views online for her sweet little voice singing various Disney songs and religious songs. Even Ellen Degeneres has taken note of her special talent.

On Monday, Claire was given the opportunity to audition on the NBC hit TV singing show, The Voice.

In the season premier of the show, Claires father, Dave Crosby, was a contestant on the popular reality show. Singing the Death Cab For Cutie song I Will Follow You Into The Dark, Crosby had three coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Miley Cyrus turn around, indicating a desire to have Crosby on their team.

As the coaches asked Crosby about what got him into singing, he shared that he had kind of given up on music about four years ago when I held my little daughter for the first time and she turned out to be just an incredible little singer for a 4-year-old. She made a couple of viral videos.

Levine interrupted by asking: Wait a minute, youre not the one that was doing the Randy Newman song, were you?

Crosby responded that he was.

Levine said: Get her out here. I want to hear that Randy Newman song right now.

Claire came on stage unfazed and sang a portion of Youve Got A Friend In Me, the song from Pixars Toy Story. Upon which, Levine said: Now that weve just melted the hearts of everyone in the country.

Dave, I want you on my team, but I would really like to have her, Shelton added.

Crosby responded by saying: Story of my life, man.

Levine shared that after he had a baby girl, someone shared Claires video with him and he lost it, speaking about his emotional reaction to having a baby girl.

Im so happy you realized that you shouldnt have given up on this, because if you would have given up on this, that (referencing Claire singing) never would have happened, Levine added. What a beautiful thing. I cant believe its you the dude from that video sitting in front on me right now.

Shelton also made a pitch for Crosby, and pleaded with him to pick him as a coach, saying: I would love to have you on my team. Well get you going as an artist and then well co-manage your daughter.

Crosby ended up choosing Levine as his coach and will advance to the knockout round of The Voice.

Claires first YouTube video was her singing Part of Your World from Disneys 1989 classic The Little Mermaid. The video has more than 14 million views since it was released in January 2016.
