Second Lawsuit Targets Effingham IDA
The Southern Environmental Law Center filed the lawsuit Monday in Effingham County Superior Court on behalf of environmental group One Hundred Miles and Effingham County residents. The suit names the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority as the defendant and alleges violations of Georgia’s Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act

Air Force honors Peigh

Georgia Air National Guardsman Daniel W. Peigh of Guyton, a 25-year veteran of the 117th Air Control Squadron in Savannah, was recently awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal at ceremonies held at the Hunter Army Airfield unit.

Peigh is a supply/materials control superintendent and is employed fulltime with the 117th.
