Crews visits Exchange Club

Joseph (Joe) Crews from Rincon spoke to the Effingham Exchange Club about  “one nation under God” at its Nov. 6 meeting.

Crews is a retired U.S. Army major who, among other accomplishments in the military and civilian sectors, sings in the choir at Rincon United Methodist Church. He spoke about the nation’s religious heritage and the challenges it faces today as “one nation under God.”

The Effingham Exchange Club meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month for lunch, fellowship and to hear guest speakers.
