Second Lawsuit Targets Effingham IDA
The Southern Environmental Law Center filed the lawsuit Monday in Effingham County Superior Court on behalf of environmental group One Hundred Miles and Effingham County residents. The suit names the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority as the defendant and alleges violations of Georgia’s Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act

Effingham Sunrise Rotary President Ace Herring thanks Ed Cadle for speaking during their weekly meeting. Cadle is the director of Mission on the Move, which is a non-denominational non-profit organization that ministers to the needs of people in need in Mexico and Central America.

Effingham Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Guyton Christian Church activities building.
