Second Lawsuit Targets Effingham IDA
The Southern Environmental Law Center filed the lawsuit Monday in Effingham County Superior Court on behalf of environmental group One Hundred Miles and Effingham County residents. The suit names the Effingham County Industrial Development Authority as the defendant and alleges violations of Georgia’s Open Meetings Act and Open Records Act

Effingham County Cadet Squadron Civil Air Patrol Georgia Unit 453 meets Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Effingham County High School JROTC building. The commander is Joe Yutz. Ages are 12 to 21 for cadet programs. The Civil Air Patrol is an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.

The three missions of the Civil Air Patrol are emergency services, aerospace education and cadet programs.
