The South Effingham Lady Mustangs basketball team broke their long losing streak against their in-county rivals, beating the Effingham County Lady Rebels 36-25 at ECHS on Saturday night.

The Rebels, behind 22 points from Nolan Spake, defended their home court against the South Effingham boys, beating them 60-38 as Mustangs coach Jason Keeler was ejected with 2:22 to play in the game. The ejection means Keeler cannot coach the Mustangs in their next two games.
