Characters from the Dr. Seuss books were everywhere at The Learning Treehouse preschool on Goshen Road. The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, Thing One and Thing Two were on every door and every inch of wall space in the center. After all, it was Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

In every classroom, children were hard at work making red and white Cat in the Hat hats, making Cat in the Hat models from paper and more.
Ashley Boland and Jana Fox decided that this entire week would be all about Seuss for the kids. Even the lunch menu looks like it’s straight out of one of his books, with dishes such as Green Eggs and Ham with Oranges, One Fish, Two Fish Sticks, and Horton Hears a Who Beef Stew. On Tuesday afternoon the kids were treated to a Dr. Seuss birthday cake and brownies in honor of the beloved author.
