The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center of Savannah presents a four-part hands-on series of classes covering QuickBooks on Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., beginning Sept. 20.

The classes will be held at the Small Business Resource Center, 111 E. Liberty St. in Savannah.

The cost is $99 per person for all four sessions. Paid registration is due by Sept. 17 and seating is limited to the first 25 registrants. You must bring your own laptop preloaded with QuickBooks. Version 2010 or higher is preferred but not required.

The four sessions begin with basic bookkeeping system procedures, then moves on to setting up your own computerized system of accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales and invoicing, customer receipts, paying bills, generating reports, bank reconciliation and payroll.
