Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Hartman are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Marie, of Guyton, to Paul Emile Pare III of Guyton.

The bride elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Brown of Guyton. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hartman of Clinton, Iowa. She is a 2003 graduate of Effingham County High School and is currently employed at NCB (National Cargo Bureau) in Garden City and also employed as a jewelry representative at Premier Designs.

The groom elect is the son of Mrs. Ruby Cooler of Early Branch, S.C., and Mr. Paul Pare Jr. of Savannah. He attended Richmond Hill High School and is employed as a service manager at Tuffy Automotive Service Center in Beaufort, S.C.

The couple will be married March 29 at the United Methodist Campground Tabernacle in Springfield at 4 p.m.

A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony at the home of Chris and Colleen Hartman of Guyton. All family and friends are invited to attend.
