Mr. and Mrs. Laura Young of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Leigh Young, to Joseph Preston Alford, the son of Billy and Mickey Alford of Rincon.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2010 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s of science degree in early childhood education.

The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of South Effingham High School and is currently employed at Freightliner of Savannah as a Sales Representative.

The ceremony is scheduled for June 26, 2010, at Bloomingdale Alliance Church with the reception to follow at the Embassy Suites ballroom. Invitations to be mailed soon.
