FLORENCE, Miss. Its hard to know if cat people are born or made.

I didnt have a cat until I was a 20-year-old newlywed and my husband and I took home six kittens that had been born under my in-laws clubhouse in their backyard. After a week of bottle-feeding six kitties, I think I was made into a cat person.

That certainly held true after I kept one white kitten I named Atticus (even though shes female). That cat waits for me to get home from work every day and meows until I sit and give her all the pets she can handle. I am a cat person.

I think its safe to say that Robert Reese was probably born a cat person. I only say that because he has an entire YouTube channel dedicated to saving cats from trees in Mississippi.

Reeses most recent video shows a 50-foot pine tree ascension in Florence, Mississippi, where a cat named Sammy had been stuck for a whopping 11 days!

Luckily, Sammy made the rescue easy by coming to me once I got near him, Reese wrote in the video description.

I love that Reese makes all the accompanying clicking sounds us cat people do so well and talks Sammy through the rescue.

Make sure to watch until the end to see a photo of sweet Sammy once he recovered.
