SPARTANBURG. S.C. — Twenty-five Georgia Southern University student-athletes were honored by the Southern Conference for academic excellence during the 2008 spring season.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average entering the spring season and must have competed in at least one-half of their team’s competitions during the recently-concluded campaign.
