Seth Goldwire had four tackles for the Wofford Terriers in their 47-44 win over Western Carolina last Thursday night.
Goldwire, a junior inside linebacker and Effingham County High alum, leads the Terriers with 71 stops, 3.5 for losses.
The Terriers, 7-2 for the season and 4-1 in the Southern Conference, play host to the Georgia Southern Eagles on Saturday.
Goldwire will face former ECHS teammate Lynon Jefferson, a senior wide receiver for the Eagles.
Jefferson had one catch for 7 yards in Georgia Southern’s 21-17 win over The Citadel. For the year, he has four catches for 67 yards and one rush for 12 yards.
Former South Effingham star Patrick Bolen, a junior place-kicker for Georgia Southern, has yet to attempt a kick this season.
