Roberts finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs. Colby May was 2-for-4 with a homer to back winning pitcher Stephen Vaughn.
Travis Wooten was 2-for-3 and drove in a run and Michael Miller was 1-for-2 with an RBI as the Mustangs improved to 4-1.

South Effingham will go on the road to face Toombs County on Thursday.

The Mustangs’ game with Effingham County was rained out Tuesday night and was rescheduled for Wednesday. The two teams also had their preseason scrimmage against each other washed out.
