Mr. Timothy Q. Nease and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis A. Webb are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby Quinn Nease, of Springfield, to Adam Gibson Newland of Springfield.

The bride elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Bonner of Clyo. She is the paternal granddaughter of Mr. A. B. Nease Jr. and the late Mrs. Jean Nease of Port Wentworth, and Mr. and Mrs. J. Terrell Webb of Springfield. She is a 2006 graduate of Effingham County High School and is currently a sophomore at the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art.

The groom elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Newland of Springfield. His maternal grandparents are Mrs. Marion Gibson of Story City, Iowa, and the late Mr. Robert Gibson. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Newland of Denison, Iowa. He is a 2004 graduate of Effingham County High School and will graduate from the University of Georgia in May.

The couple will be married July 12, 2008, at Springfield United Methodist Church.
