Kristin Elaine and Christopher Chad Turner

Kristin Elaine Aids and Christopher Chad Turner of Rincon were married on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Living Faith Church of God in Guyton at 6 p.m. Rev. Sean Faircloth officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David W. Aids of Rincon. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest M. Aids Jr., Mr. Marvin Eugene Hickman Sr. and the late Mrs. Zilphia Rita Hickman. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Mark Turner of Rincon. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cone and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roan Turner.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Ashton Brooke White as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Danielle Turner, groom’s sister; Ashlie Aids Wright, bride’s cousin; Dayanne Fort, groom’s cousin; and Abbie Nicole Aids, bride’s cousin. Kinley Shay Turner, groom’s niece, was the flower girl.

The groom chose Christopher Mark Turner, his father, as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Cooper, long-time friend of the bride and groom; Eric Martin, friend of the groom; Brandon Green, long-time friend of the groom; and Josh Aids, bride’s brother. Eric Johnson, friend of the bride and groom, was the ring bearer. Two songs were performed by Mr. and Mrs. Alton Cone, groom’s aunt and uncle, and Mrs. Melissa Faircloth, pastor’s wife and friend of the bride and groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler. The couple honeymooned on a cruise at the Bahamas and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and they now reside in Pooler.
