Mark and Penny Potter of Guyton would like to announce the Oct. 15, 2011, wedding of their daughter, Kortni Lynn Potter, to Jon Kaye of Marietta.

Kortni is a graduate of South Effingham High School and Georgia Southern University. She is employed as a veterinarian assistant in the Atlanta area.

Jon is the son of Mary and Mickey Kaye and the stepson of Brenda Kaye. He graduated from Lassiter High School and Georgia Tech. He is a senior technical analyst at Cox Media Group based in Atlanta.

Kortni and Jon are residing in their new home in Decatur.
