Effingham County Rotarians enjoyed a visit from Swann Seiler, about the care scheduling and responsibilities of Uga, the University of Georgia's mascot. Besides the four generations of Seiler's family who have raised, trained and loved the entire Uga lineage, Uga receives special treatment by the UGA administration and veterinarian school, as well as his fans. Seiler's father has co-written a book detailing the seven generations of Uga, beginning with the first (current Uga is number seven), who was a wedding gift to him and his new wife. When her parents retire as primary custodians, Seiler and her siblings stand ready to take over.
