Air Force Airman 1st Class Jason L. Burgstiner graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is the son of Danny Burgstiner of Rincon.

Burgstiner received a bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn.
